Ok so i have been trying to get flatspots out of some darkstar wheels, which flat spotted in one day (Who ever says these are hard to flatspot then your wrong lol)
I tried sand paper, doing small slides and carving with a blade and no luck. So heres what i done.
Tools you need:
Find something which gives you a flame, a lighter / matches / cooker lighter / flamethrower what ever :)
1: Keep the flat spot wheel on the board, (you may take it off if you wish)
2: Get the naked flame and hold the wheel flat spot above the flame.
3: Hold it there for 10 - 15 seconds
4: Quickly remove the flame and start rolling your board on a flat surface with preasure.
5: Do this several times and you should start feeling the flat spot getting smaller.
By melting the wheel your causing the plastic to soften, or even melt to a liwuid form this then gives you the chance to re mould the wheel by rolling it before it drys.
(THIS IDEA MAY ALREADY BE KNOWN, I JUST THOUGHT I'D GIVE SOME HELP OUT)
Enjoy! :)
Quick NOTE! Make sure to melt a few cm out side of the flatspot or you will have an egg shapped wheel ;)
